Gabriela Lefevre- TranslatorGabriela Lefevre has graduated as a Literary and Technical-Scientific Translator in Argentina (Spanish <>English). Gabriela has also a degree in Education. She worked for more than 13 years as in-house translator where she gained experience in the agriculture and livestock fields as well as laboratory and biotechnology areas. In parallel, she has been working as a freelance translator, proof-reader and quality manager on different fields such as legal translations, marketing, technical-scientific translations, software, localization, web pages, manuals, business, medicine, education, economy, foreign trade, maritime and aviation transport, literary works. With all this background, she settled in Australia and founded gl translations in 2003.

Gabriela has also translated some literary works. As a result, she presented her paper:  “My hate and love relationship with literary translations” at the 2004– AUSIT- ASLIA CONFERENCE, POWER TO THE PROFESSION.

Currently, Gabriela Lefevre is a proud practising translator, proof-reader, quality manager, Spanish translation tutor, and is responsible for quality management at gl translations where she manages gl translations’ day-to-day operations. Gabriela is also interested in the latest technologies, which helps her to improve all the services she offers.

Gabriela also enjoys being with her family and taking long walks along the beautiful beaches of Melbourne. Kayaking and water-sports also help her to relax after long working hours.
